Mike Novogratz – “The Herd Is Coming”

In this presentation, Mike goes over how he got into the crypto space, the potential for cryptos and blockchain, and how the established mainstream institutions will adopt cryptos.

With his background in institutional investing, Mike words carry a lot of weight. That he “gets” that vibe of cryptos earns him some credit with me, because I think a lot of people (myself included,) had an “aha” moment and never looked back.

That said, he speaks of how the institutional minds and money are looking more and more at bitcoin and cryptos as legitimate and are trying to figure out ways that they can get skin into the game. I think once this begins to happen, we’ll see the regulatory framework come into being that will bolster the level of legitimacy in the eyes of Mom and Dad Everyday and soon even more people will be moving money into the crypto space. Best to get in before the herd. It’s coming.

Mike Novogratz is an ex-hedge fund manager, formerly of the investment firm Fortress Investment Group. He was ranked a billionaire by Forbes in 2007 and 2008.

Prior to joining Fortress, he was a partner at Goldman Sachs where he spent lots of time working abroad including leadership roles in Asia and Latin America
