Summed up simply:
1) we’re seeing the US petrodollar dominance decline
2) since default (any failure to pay in full what is owed on a bond, in this case governement) is not an option due to the loss of confidence, the end result continues to be devaluation via printing of new money.
3) keep your eyes open- we’re going to see natural selection punish bad decisions again
