History Lesson: “Triumph of the Nerds, PT.3 (1996)”

I first published part 1 back in 2018. When I realized that I did not publish parts 2 and 3, I realized that this seemed like an opportune time to do so.

When you watch this, ask yourself what parallels do you see to what has been happening in the crypto space? Just how big can you see this getting?

I discovered this by finding the VHS series in an old computer cabinet and found it on Youtube.  As I’m watching this, I caught a lot of parallels to the crypto space today.  The enthusiasm, the technical nature of performing basic functions, the techno-geeks and enthusiasts being the big drivers, and [the predicative element of] innovation that leads to (widespread) adaptation.

If you were to draw cryptos in parallel to the PC industry, where do you see things in 20 years?  10 years?  Five?

Enjoy, and be well, Everyone.
