I’ve been quiet posting lately partly because I’ve finally gotten to reading one of Andreas Antonopoulis’ books., “The Internet of Money.” As I am reading it, I am understanding the underlying fundamentals of bitcoin/cryptocurrencies in a much more real-world context. Bitcoin is not just digital money- it’s an underlying technology than enables human behavior in a way we’ve not had, on a scale we’ve not had…ever. It is these reasons that gets me so excited for bitcoin. It is not only an expression of value, it is an expression of human sovereignty and cooperation that allows for anyone, and everyone, to participate, and in a non-coercive way.
The book is composed of individual talks Andreas gave, and many of them have an accompanying video. I will be sharing these in a series of posts HERE.
Enjoy, and be well, Everyone. Go bitcoin.

In this short, “TED style” talk, Andreas delivers an introduction to bitcoin for a general non-technical audience. Delivered in Athens in November of 2013, this is one of the most shared bitcoin videos, an easy way to explain bitcoin to anyone.
