The question is, to what degree and in what ways. I’ll let you come to your own conclusions. My own personal view is that with regulation starting to be applied to the crypto space, regulators and legislators will begin issuing guidance and cracking down on fraudulent activity (Bitconnect and other lending platforms and HYIPs coming into the cross hairs, for example.) This will weed out a lot of bad actors, but in the of Tether and Bitfinex, 1) we’ll have to see what happens and 2) my advice is to avoid both altogether.
Be well, Everyone.
Let’s take this through a storyline, starting with: “What is Tether?”
Now let’s touch on the dark side.
Dark Side Pt 2. Start at the 1:42 point.
